Who we are

A ministry of practical hope

Inter-Faith Aid Ministry International Uganda and USA is a domestic, non-profit organisation committed to advancing socio-economic development and promoting education for orphans, poor and needy children in Uganda, East Africa.

The work began as Sanyu Youth Aid Ministries in 1962. In 1966, after founder Rev. David Seremba returned from a church development course in Kitwe, Zambia, Uganda Youth Aid Society was formally established. That calling continues today through IFAMI.

Our engagement

Building a place to gather, learn and rest

This is an artistic impression of the planned St. Deborah Memorial Guest House at Nswanjere, Gomba — a programme of Nswanjere Gomba Anglican Church of Uganda.

The guest house is part of a wider plan to create a sustainable base for ministry, hospitality and income for the work. All donors are welcome.
